World Macrolepidoptera - Greg Nobes, Dr Ken James
- A new standard has been set for collectors -

Collectors and enthusiasts of all levels will find World Macrolepidoptera both fascinating and indispensable as a reference.

Our uniquely designed series combines the limits of macro-photography and programming.

---+ our norm
---+ segment detail

Our macro-photography enables you to view specimens in a ways no existing reference books can replicate - you choosing the adjustable view from normal size to extraordinarily large and detailed views. These large file (some exceeding 20Mb) views give detail other references just cannot deliver.

Volume I contains hundreds of different meticulously processed photographs of Ornithoptera, Troides, Papilio, Delias, Atrophaneura, Morpho, and many other rare and unusual specimens.

Each of the specimens (even CITES protected) contained in our extensive collections have been personally captured from

  • Sumatra, the Moluccas, and other islands of Indonesia
  • South America
  • Europe
  • and many other places around the planet

A range of CITES protected species have been captured and photographed with government permits spanning the 1970's to present.

Also included, are previously undiscovered specimens, which have been captured and classified (taxonomically) by the well-known lepidopterist and entomologist, Ted Archer.
Volume I of World Macrolepidoptera is a companion, which collectors will find useful for referencing, identification and for the simple pleasure of viewing.
